Congratulations! You've made it. The first year is one of the most rewarding, but also the hardest. Something to be celebrated.
A cake smash is such a fun way to mark your babies 1st birthday.
Some really get into the spirit of things, and get stuck in, whilst others may just have a nibble, and a little prod of the cake. But what is for sure is we will see your babies personality shining through, and will document this special time in their lives.
Cakes are by the fabulous Mrs B's Bakes, and bespoke made to match your design.
Your baby will have a glorious time during their cake smash session. There will be lots of singing, dancing, peek-a-boo's, followed by a good old splash in the bath
Upon booking I will ask you for your preferences for your Cake Smash.
Some choose a lovely balloon garland (maybe to match the colours of their upcoming party, or their bedroom decor?). Whilst others choose from one of the lovely themed Cake Smashes available.
If you can't decide, why not keep it
'All about the baby' and go with a beautiful timeless plain white set up.

A personal viewing and design appointment, where you will be presented with a gallery of 20+ beautifully edited images to choose from.
At your viewing appointment, you'll be able to select the package that best suits you.

Collections
Session Availability and Booking
All sessions take place on a Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday and some Friday mornings.
Sessions outside of these times (including weekends) can be arranged upon request for an additional fee of £100
Booking and Payment
The session fee is required at the time of booking. Your session is only secured once payment has been made.
A minimum spend of £299 is due on the day of your session for editing to begin.
If, at your viewing appointment, you decide not to purchase any images, this amount will be fully refunded.
Viewing and Image Selection
Around 2-3 weeks after your session you will be invited back to the studio to view your gallery of around 30+ images. At this time you can:
Select the images you'd like to include within your package.
Along with ordering any keepsakes, frames and albums.

As soon as you know you want a Cake Smash session its best to get in touch. Some people book their Cake Smash sessions in after their newborn sessions, so I do get booked up well in advance. If you have left it late, please do still get in touch, I normally have a little bit of wiggle room in the diary to squeeze people in.
Cake smash sessions normally take around 1 hour. We start the session by deciding on an outfit. Followed by a few portrait shots of baby, before the introduction of the cake. After all the mess has been made, they will have a lovely warm bath to wash off all that cake.
Absolutely! It's a family affair. Siblings and dads are welcome to come watch.
